Importance of nutrients in MultiVit Junior:
Vitamin A – Contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and vision.
Vitamin D – Is essential to support the immune system, normal bones and teeth and contributes to normal muscle function.
Vitamin C – Contributes to the normal function of the immune system and nervous system. Helps fight tiredness and fatigue.
Vitamin K – Works in partnership with vitamin D for bone health but is also essential to support normal blood clotting.
Vitamin B complex – Supports energy metabolism and reducing tiredness and fatigue.
Iodine – Is important for neurological function. Also, it is used to make thyroid hormones.
Selenium – Supports maintenance of normal hair and nails.
National Nutrition Survey:
National Nutrition Survey shows that micronutrient deficiency in children <5 years of age are as follows, anaemia 53.7%, iron deficiency anaemia 28.6%, vitamin A deficiency 51.5%, zinc deficiency 18.6% and vitamin D deficiency 62.7%.
Furthermore, undernutrition is very prevalent with up to 40.2% stunted growth (low height for age) in children aged under five years and a further 17.7% wasting (low weight for height) in children.
Additionally, the children below the age of five years are up to 28.9% underweight. Thus, there is an increased need of nutritional supplementation in Pakistani children.
Instructions:
Shake well before use.
For first time spraying: Press the pump 3 times to get the liquid flowing.
Carefully spray into your child’s mouth, ideally onto the inside of their cheek, and hold for a few seconds.
Replace the cap after use.
